Lindoso is a village belonging to the municipality of Vega de Valcarce in the Bierzo region of León. In the past there used to be a festival in honour of the patron saint of the village, but now with the few inhabitants left, only a meal is organised to celebrate the feast day.
The few inhabitants who still live in the village make their living from mountain livestock farming, they get together and chat quietly, tell stories and tell tales. The storytelling ability of these people is worthy of a prize.
